Terms of Service

Match Almanac is a marketplace that connects people seeking matchmaking services (“clients”) with independent matchmakers (“matchmakers”). Match Almanac is not a matchmaking service itself and does not introduce or vet romantic matches. Matchmakers are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Match Almanac.

All communication between clients and matchmakers must remain on the Match Almanac platform until an engagement is formed. Sharing or soliciting off-platform contact details (phone, email, social handles, external links) through briefs, proposals, or messages is prohibited.

All payments for services discovered through Match Almanac must be processed through Match Almanac. Arranging payment outside the platform to avoid fees is prohibited.

Match Almanac charges a platform fee of 20% on completed transactions. The matchmaker receives the remainder. Fees are disclosed before payment and may change with notice.

Violating the on-platform communication or payment requirements is grounds for immediate removal from Match Almanac, at our sole discretion and without refund of fees already earned by the platform.

Match Almanac is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for the quality, outcomes, conduct, or results of any matchmaking services arranged through the platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Match Almanac is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any engagement formed through it.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Match Almanac after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
